Historical Markers

Cedar Crake Park is host to the Pioneers of Montgomery Statue featuring Dr. Charles B. Stewart, designer of the Texas Flag.

Historic buildings and markers contribute to Montgomery's sense-of-place and offers unique information and spaces for stores, restaurants, offices and many other uses.

Experience Texas History up close and first-hand with a guided tour through Fernland Historical Park and the N. H. Davis Museum. When visiting the Museum, pick up the brochure Historic Montgomery, and visit the many historical sites in the city.
