Dave is a Registered Landscape Architect, Certified Planner, and US Army veteran with a passion for local community. He spent 14 years serving on various Boards and Commissions for the City, including 5 years on City Council. Dave joined city staff in October 2018. Dave's areas of focus include public policy, community development, urban planning and design, and parks & open space planning. He holds degrees from Kansas State University in Landscape Architecture, Regional & Community Planning, and Natural Resources & Environmental Science.
