Mike Muckleroy
Mike has been with the City of Montgomery since 2014. He started his Public Works career in 2006 with the City of Conroe as a laborer in the Construction Department. He later moved to the Water/Sewer Maintenance department where he became a crew leader. In 2014, Mike was given the opportunity to become the Utility Foreman with the City of Montgomery and was later promoted to Director of Public Works. His favorite food and drink is "Quality pizza and non-flavored black coffee. No pecan or blueberry or any other flavor other than coffee bean". He enjoys bass fishing, camping, and trail riding in the family 4runner when he's not at work. One thing you might not know about Mike is that he is fascinated with weather and always thought he should have been a storm chaser. Mike is licensed through TCEQ as a Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection operator as well as a Customer Service Inspector. He is a 2017 graduate of the TML Leadership Academy and a 2020 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County. Mike also holds a Certified Water Professional designation (Certificate #80) through Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. One thing on his bucket list is to learn how to fly fish.
