Parks and Recreation
Public Works is responsible for the regular maintenance of all City parks. These duties include the following:
- Playground equipment maintenance
- "Kiddie Kushion" maintenance
- Clean restrooms
- Empty trash cans
- Irrigation system maintenance
- Groundskeeping
- Fire ant control
- Installation of all Christmas decorations
- Electrical and light pole repairs
- Flag maintenance (includes all half-staff occurrences)
The Rotary Club of Lake Conroe performs a large variety of maintenance at Memory Park as well as handling all new areas of development within the park.
